7.19.2026: Website is created now, so I have a place to put all of the updates. The jacket has been hap-hazardly lined. I couldn't find a tutorial on how to replace the lining without the original lining, so I flipped the jacket inside out, draped the fabric over the jacket, and hacked away with craft scissors. The buttons showed up from etsy, and they are PERFECT! Perfect size, perfect color - perfect in every way! And then I didn't put them on. The jacket has been sitting on the manniquin since... MAY 10th?! I've had these buttons since May 10th and I hadn't done anything with it!
See, this is why I need this webpage so I can call out myself out when it's been over two months and I hadn't even bothered to put buttons on the jacket I was obssessed with.

DRAGON JACKET (WIP)

A friend of mine was going through her clothes and found a leather jacket. The leather was in really good condition, but the lining had been complately ripped out. I blame it on my constant playing of BG3, but I saw it and wanted to make it a wizard jacket.

The "story" of the jacket is that this was a wizard's jacket from a skinned dragon. The black leather jacket will have a green silk lining, reptile/lizard eyes for buttons, subtle embellishments of protection runes/talismens. Hidden pockets for the sake of pockets.
